A very boring rectal thermometer. Most on-call nurses/pediatricians wants rectal temps so it's nice to have.
I also have the temporal artery one, and its fine for a quick check.
We have the Vicks Comfortflex Thermometer.
It has an 8 second reading time, the tip is flexible, and it lights up: green if temp is ok, yellow for a low grade fever, and red for a high fever. It's great for taking temp in the dark. I *LOVE* it.
