TTC After a Loss

This feels weird

I am FB chatting with a college friend that happens to be a guy. He and his wife just had twins. I asked if they were "natural" twins or "fertility treatment" twins.

He said that they went through fertility treatments. Now we talking about fertility treatments and everything that has gone on. It seems weird to talk to a guy about it and hear his point of view on it.

I told him I was broken and he said "you're not broken, just stingie"

I couldn't stop laughing.

  • That's hilarious!  Stingie sounds so much better than broken for some reason Smile

It's nice to know there are other people out there who can relate.  I've been amazed by how many people have come out of the woodwork to share their m/c stories with me once they found out I had one.  Sad that so many people have to go through this crap, but I guess it's a little reassuring knowing that we aren't alone, and it's not completely "unnormal" (yes, I just made up that word).

  • LOL love the stingie term..

my ex boyfriend is going through IVF with his wife and they are struggling with male infertility. as odd as it is, i think it's helped to talk about it with eachother and share our stories with one another. although completely different, they are the same in so many ways.
