anyone have a d&c at 5 weeks?

I am 5 weeks 2 days and have been told I am going to have a m/c...again!!  The dr. said just to wait "to bleed" (which I found quite insensitive)..I have had both natural m/c and a d&e on my last m/c.  I want a d&c for this, I can't go through a natural one again.  My fear is I am to early.

Anyone else have a d&c at 5 weeks?

    Sorry, love. Both of my d&c's were later (12 + weeks, and 8 + weeks). For our early loss at 4+ weeks, I just started bleeding, similar to a heavy period.

    I agree, the doc really could have put this in a more sensitive way. Have you started to bleed at all?

    No, no bleeding or cramping.

    My first m/c was a chem pg, my other two were just before 10 weeks.

    My levels are so low they assumed I already started bleeding.  I just want to be put out and wake up and have it over.

    I totally understand that. I felt the same way.

    I would get in touch again with the doc and tell him you want a d&c if possible, and hopefully they will listen to your wishes. If not, time for a new doc.

    If it helps, I had a d&c at 4 weeks because I didn't get any results with cytotec. 

    I am sorry for your loss and poor choice of words from your doc.  Take care!
