It's just a little wind right?

I was woken up this morning by a branch hitting the sliding glass door.

We are having gust of 35+ miles per hour.  I know it's not much compared to other places, but in California I'm not used to the wind! I can deal with lightening, thunder, even a small earthquake here and there... but wind, wind scares the pee out of me!

So here I am, sitting on my couch hiding under a blanket with my dog waiting for DH to get home from work.

we are having high winds here in PA too.  it actually woke me up last night  too and all i could think about was that my xmas wreath was going to blow off my front door.

I know what you mean! I took Lola for a walk this morning and she squatted to pee and got blown over!

Ha! It wasn't that bad here, of course Buster is 80 pounds, so it would take a lot to make him fall over.

ha! I'm the same way!  A really windy storm makes me feel like the house is going to blow down around me.

Of course, I'm also afraid of earthquakes, tornados, and bad thunderstorms.  It's safe to say Mother Nature scares the pants off of me.

We get the Santa Ana's all the time down here.  The weather has been so weird lately...and that's what I don't like.  It was hot in the 80's all week, super windy last night, and now there's a chill in the air.  When it fluctuates like that, they say it's earthquake weather...and I just saw 2012, so that doesn't help!!
