Making pasta makes me super nervous. But, I did use PW's recipe for pecan pie this week and it was glorious. So I can't doubt her. And I love the photos thorugh the recipe.
MrsLiberto made PW's pasta and said it was easy and delicious. I need to ask Lib cause she's a total foodie and knows all about this crap but she's not on.
I totally agree. I think the pictures are the best part (aside from the amazing outcome of all of her recipes).
Plus, from the looks of that gorgeous pie you made, you are a far better baker than this baking noob anyway.
I refuse to even post pics of the pies I made on FB. They tasted delicious, so I suppose that's what matters. But their presentation--it got a big, fat F.
Post em! LOL People keep mentioning that crazy pie (even my mom who is never impressed with ANYTHING I do) and it was so easy it was ridiculous!
The only reason it was even close to being that pretty was because I had the little cutters. Before I put the shapes on it the pie was ugly and the filling cracked the whole way around!
In the pumpkin, the pie dish was too deep and there wasn't even really crust edges. It just folded up along the pyrex.
In the pecan, the crust was all uneven, and I didn't, I do'nt know what it's called, squeeze it enough to make it patterny? It was all uneven, fat on one side, skinny on the other, all sorts of ugly.
The cutters sure worked though! It looked scrumptious!
