Christmas Tree shopping re: Prices?

Costco is having a pre-sale of Noble Fir Christmas Trees for $41.99 and they will be available for pick up on Dec 4 (or 2nd can't quite remember)...They will be around 7ft

Well at a little hole in the wall christmas lot near my parents house they are also selling Noble Firs for only $29 bucks?!! They are about 6/7ft.

Not sure what the going prices are for this particular tree (not douglas firs..don't like those).  I see tree lots selling trees from 9.95 to 39.95.

I guess I am surprised that Costco isn't selling them for less...usually they have such fantastic prices.

Whats a good price for a Noble Fir around 6/7 ft tall?

Thanks.

  • We always get ours from Rite-Aid for around $20 (sometimes cheaper).

    Good luck!

  • We stopped buying Nobles a few years ago because they were always more expensive.  I'm glad to hear they are coming down.   i'd say that both are good prices IMO.

  • I saw some really gorgeous ones at Lowes and Home Depot...going for $20-$30 (depending upon 6ft or 7ft)....Lowes was cheaper and theirs looked a little more full and lush....which is always important for Nobles, otherwise you see right through them.

    I pph Noble Firs.

DH I are wrestling with getting a faux tree....more environmentally friendly? I am not so sure because some people say the production of them is worse!
