Rec Your Baby Monitor

We didn't get the really nice audio-visual monitor ($180) for the baby shower, so now I'm looking for something cheaper.  What do you suggest? TIA!

    I got the fisher price mom response. No static and the price was right at $80 - It had a 4 star rating compared to other monitors in the price range. Baby is not here yet, but H and I have been playing around with it since we got it.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    We got the Slim & Secure Handheld Color Video Montior.. My DH is a tech freak and he i loves it.. It works great, no interference, and the day and night view is amazing..

    I love our Sony audio monitor.  I've never had any problems with it (in 18 months).
