Exercise/Menu Plan all while breastfeeding...how do you do it?

My LO is 2months old and i gained 48lbs this time around! I've got 20 to go; i havent done anything yet to lose weight but now i'm ready to get into gear. What do you all do/any sample menu plans (i have to go by a menu or i'll stray to the chips!). What type of exercise do you do?

  • I'm BF'ing as well and have been told not to restrict calories too much.  There are probably good calories and bad calories, and I try to keep away from the chips and eat a balanced diet.  I've been working out at the gym - stair climber and free weights three times a week, only cardio on the other two.  I've heard running is great but I don't think they make a bra that could support my boobs!

  • I'm BFing and so havent been following a super strict diet.  I do make healthy choices - steel cut oats for breakfast, hardboiled egg whites (+1 egg) with hummus for lunch, fish and veg or pasta for dinner. I snack on fruit and nuts in between.

I cant really get out to the gym because my husband works ALL the time, so I bought an elliptical for my house.  I've been doing 30-35 mins in the morning. After I put the baby down for the night I do the Tracy Anderson Mat DVD (AWEsome!!) and another 15 mins on the elliptcal.

It has really helped me mentally to get back into the swing of things after not being active for the last few weeks of my pregnancy and the first 6 weeks PP.

    GL!
