Another D&C

So ALL the time I thought I was being paranoid with the strong cramps and heavy bleeding because I was so sad and didn't feel ready to face reality again.  It actually turned out that I had a lot of excess tissue and my uterus is not shrinking, which was causing all the cramping and heavy bleeding.  I went to my OB today and I'm now admitted to the hospital and having my 2nd D&C tonight. Likely because I was 13 weeks and there was so much tissue the first time.  Sorry for the bad typing, I'm on my iPhone.  I just want this nightmare to be over!

    Oh dear, I'm so sorry you have to go through this again (2nd D&C), I hope they'll get everything out this time and you'll recover soon.

    btw, as for me, my number is dropping like 20% each week, I'm currently 9 weeks post-op and still have hcg in my system, i'm scared of retained tissue but the ultrasound couldn't find anything.

    Oh no.  I'm sorry that you have to endure another d&c.  That just doesn't seem fair.  Sending good thoughts and speedy recovery wishes your way.

    I am sorry you are going through another D&C.  I too had to have two within three weeks of each other for the same reason.  I wish they had done the second one sooner...that was a long 3 weeks of blood loss.  After the second I felt 100% times better; I hope the same for you.  It will get better.  Keeping you in prayer.

    Thanks for the good wishes.  I finally got into surgery about 12:30 a.m.  I just got home and am definitely feeling better.  Much less bleeding and cramping than before.  I'm just tired and a little sore.  Hopefully this will help fast track my road to recovery.

    Happy belated Thanksgiving to my American friends.

    I'm glad that you are doing ok, and I'm pretty sure they got everything this time.  Take a good care of yourself and you'll recover fully very soon
