Making a pie crust q

Can I substitute margerine for the butter? Also, could I melt or soften the margerine before adding it to the ingredients?

  • you could but personally I think butter is best and no dont soften or melt it.

  • I've never substituted margerine for butter...so don't know about that.  Definitely don't melt it though.
