Have you tried using them when you need to brown onions in a pan? Or do you just use them more as an ingredient? I wondered if they brown ok or if they get too watery.
What? Seriously frozen chopped onions???? If it wasn't 9pm I would be going to the store to get some.
Seriously -- best thing ever. I got choped sweet vidalia onions for a dollar a bag. Yeah, it's more expensive than chopping them yourself, but chopping onions is a pain in the butt.

I sauteed them with celery to make stuffing and they were fine. I wouldn't try to carmelize them or something, but for most stuff they work well.
Re: Frozen chopped onions are the best invention ever!
When I have to use like half an onion or pepper, I chop the rest and freeze it. OMG... what a time saver!

I do the same thing. It works great! You can get them to brown up, you just have to cook them longer and at a higher temperature.
