Hi Ladies,
I mostly lurk but have a huge problem... I hate all the cutesy baby stuff. Our nursery is a very bright deep green, the furniture that we have chosen is Baby Mod - Olivia.
My question to you ladies is can anyone reccommend bedding that is graphic, sleek and modern?
Details that may help
- we don't know the gender of our baby
- the theme is family tree, we are having a "tree of life" painted on the wall with picture frames where we will mount pictures of family members
TIA for your help
Re: I Hate Baby Stuff! Please help me!
This is Dwell Studio's Owls crib set:
Or this is the chocolate dot set (same maker):
Available on amazon, fawnandforest.com, or multiple other sites (just google them).
Another who did solid sheets. No bumper, no accessories. The curtains are solid and the quilt is a homemade gift that is batik print patchwork which is crisp and modern.
Have you looked at www.javisdavis.com - it's custom bedding and they have many modern and minimalist materials to choose from. I also don't like cutesie baby decor - we had some of our bedding made with this company. Great quality stuff.
My favourite set.... (sorry - no energy for PIP)

I really like the look of some of the Glenna Jean stuff. But not living in the US I don't know how their prices compare or what the quality is like.
Here are my favourite two.

My daughter combined Serena & Lily "Charlotte" with Dwell "Blossom", modern and beautiful. Here's one little corner. I painted the tree, the walls are one color llighter than the tree on the paint chart. The curtains are PBK, white with pink dots, the lampshade and accent table are pink, but it's not overdone.
This is their first baby's room when they lived in a vintage Chicago condo, using the Serena and Lily bedding:
Lambs & Ivy has some good looking stuff--it is like artistic.
If you are more into something with graphics that is artistic and with animals--there is Enchanted Forest, Habitat, or Little One.
Or if you are wanting something more with graphics that is artistic with more edge--there is Baby Picasso, Park Avenue Baby and Rock N' Roll.

As well, Land of Nod has some good designs for Crib Bedding.
Oh What a Beautiful Morning would be nice in a green room--artistic and about nature.
