My daughter is 19 months and has started to become a light sleeper. DH and I have habitually been wickedly quiet around her once she is down...with #2 coming along next month, should we start playing the drums or something while she sleeps? (LOL, obviously kidding, but you get my drift).
Not sure how to prepare her (or if it's possible) for a lot of noise and overall chaos.
TIA!

Re: 2U2 question...
Ditto this. We use an air purifier on the highest setting in DD's room. We have done this since she was a newborn. She was a very light sleeper, even when she was born so we had to do something. It works out great and we can pretty much do what we want after she goes to bed without worrying about noise waking her up.
I "third" this!
We've been using a fan in DD's room since baby's been home to help keep her asleep.
White noise machine!
We have one in each of the kids' rooms.
we have a light sleeper (#1) who has barely been bothered by a baby. he never wakes for night/naptime cries. we didn't do anything to prepare him.
