how long were you told to wait ??

with our first miscarriage we were told to wait one cycle. now this time the nurse told us to wait 2-3 cycles. that seems like an eternity to me. as much as i am scared to try again...i don't want to wait. it took us 4 cycles to get pregnant with this pumpkin which then ended in m/c and D&C. we are also going to get RPL testing done. how long does that take to get results. I am talking with my OB about it at my f.u on 12/10, so we won't get blood work until then...this is just all so frustrating. and to make matters worse my older sister had her baby yesterday by emergecy c-section, the day of my d&c...i am excited to be an aunt...however i am down and depressed even more. could things get any worse right now......especially with the holidays coming up...

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I hope you can get some answers with your testing that your going for.  The doctor told us to wait just one cycle both times.  One cycle seems like an eternity too, let alone 2-3!  You and your DH will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our situation was a bit different. After the m/c I decided I couldn't go through that again anytime soon. It was emotionally hard for me.  I am still on anti-depressants 3 months later. But my OB said if we were going to try again soon after he would want me to wait 2 cycles.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and I completely understand your frustration.  Waiting for TTC again is excruciating, especially when it took so long to get that BFP.  (For me it took us 8 cycles to get pregnant)  My doctor told me to wait 2 cycles to start again. He said if you try after the first cycle that the chances of m/c again are greater.  Maybe each situation is different, but I don't want to even chance the possibility of going through this heartache again, so I'm waiting 2 cycles to try again and hope to increase my chances of having a successful pregnancy, although I know that there's no guarantee.  I think the most important thing is to make sure you are emotionally ready to start trying again.  Hang in there and good luck.

I'm sorry you're going through this.  It's hard.  My ob/gyn said it was up to us, but recommended waiting 2 normal cycles as well.  I worry because my cycles were long before the m/c and we needed clomid to help us out.

I'm so sorry you had another loss.  I was told 2 cycles which totally suprised me.  I thought it would be more, but I'm thankful it's not.  I know how you feel with waiting, it took over a year to get pg the first time and when it happened on the first try the 2nd time it turned out to be too good to be true.  I'm gearing up for it being a long time again.  Congrats on being an aunt.

I'm very sorry for your losses.

 My doctor told me to wait 2 cycles after my D&C. At first that seemed like a really long time, but I'm ok with it now as I don't think I'm mentally ready.

Mine told me 2 full cycles (or 12 weeks, whatever came first) to get folic acid built up in my bloodstream again and flush my lining.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My doctor told me to wait one cycle (for first normal period). She said we didn't need to wait any longer than that. I highly doubt we'll get pregnant the first shot, anyway, since it took us 7 months last time.

I was told to wait one cycle, which seems like a long time, although I haven't recovered from the d&c yet.

We were told to wait for two cycles. It's been 8 weeks since my D&C and I haven't had AF yet. I might get pills to start it next week. We were planning to TTC after one cycle. But today the Dr. said that we will be given the green light once my cycle is normal which could take 2-3 cycles. Not sure what to do now except wait for AF to show up and then decide.
