Adoptions from the Heart
Has anyone used this agency or know anyone who has? DH and I are looking into first, what countries will be a good fit for our family and, subsequently, agencies. AFTH works with a few of the countries we are interested in, but I was curious to hear advice from families that have used them.

"As of September 2009 Adoptions From The Heart is no longer taking new applications for any of our international programs."
You could call them to verify, just in case. Good luck!
My husband and I are using this agency for a domestic adoption. We decided to go with them because I have two cousin's that used them to adopt from China. Neither one of my cousins had any problems with the agency, we now have three cousins from China.
I thought they weren't doing international anymore expect for Russia. I do know they don't go to China anymore.
I personally have had nothing but good experiences with them, they made the adoption process very easy. It only took us 2 months to get through the process and we are just waiting. Our social worker is great, and I can call any time for updates.

We used them for our adoption from China in 03. Hmmmm... great experience in China, not so much stateside. In their defense though, all Chinese adoptions were halted in 03 due to SARS so it was pretty much uncharted territory for them. I just didn't think they were responsive enough at the time.
That being said, our experience in China was wonderful so...no regrets.
