CHALLENGE: find me a black friday B.O.B. stroller!

with the biggest shopping weekend of the year quickly approaching, i am anxious to find the best deals on BOB jogging strollers (the 12 inch aluminum wheel Revolution, specifically) and i'm hoping you mamas can help me.

i just cross checked all the websites that sell BOBs and right now joggingstroller.com is 10% off if you use the code save10 at the checkout (i went through the whole process to make sure the discount came off - it brings it just over $350).  strollers.com is also running a promo where you get 10% off your order (no exclusions listed on the website) plus free shipping over $69 purchase when you use the code 10PERCENT at checkout.

can anyone find a BOB for less than that?  i'm guessing i am not the only bargain hunter looking for one of these items.  the current (expiring tomorrow, though) BRU coupon for 15% off one item does not apply to BOBs because they are online-only items and the coupon is specific to in-store purchases.  i checked on that at my local BRU this weekend.  bummer.

I know if you're an REI member you regularly get coupons for 20% off an item - and they carry BOB strollers in the store. You have to pay like $20 per year to join but you get cash back on your purchases so it really pays for itself if you buy stuff from there (like fleece jackets or workout clothes or whatever).

I got an online Bed Bath & Beyond coupon (20% off), and they have that stroller. I think I want it too. If you can't get the online coupon you may be able to order it in the store & use the coupon. If you have B B & B near you. It's worth a shot.

I am an REI member, so I think I will just wait until I get my next coupon in the mail....

Have you tried Craigslist?  That is the first thing I do every morning is check to see if someone has one listed!

Albee baby is 15% storewide, and they have all the Bobs. We're getting ours from REI as soon as the next coupon comes out.

I've heard REI is great because they have a great customer service policy- something like if anything goes wrong with it in 5 years you can return. I dont know if thats entirely true, but it wouldnt surprise me.

albeebaby and the BB&B online coupon both exclude the BOB from the 15% and 20% off. I have been price shopping too and checked both of those places already!

yup and yup.  otherwise i would have snatched that puppy up a loooong time ago!  i'm holding out for more than 10% off.

 

EDIT:  the REI deal is a good one to remember...  even with paying the membership fee, you'd still save about 60 bucks (which amounts to a 15% savings) so that's the best deal out there so far.  plus, the raves about customer service are nice to hear!

 

any other options?  keep 'em coming girls!

Most of the time the BOB stroller is not eligible for the REI coupon.

In regards to the BBB coupons, there were a bunch of ladies that said that if you go in store and asked to have the stroller shipped to the store for pickup they will take the coupon.  Many have said that the cashiers never check the coupon for restrictions.  It's worth a shot.
