and got my hair chopped even though I swore I would not succumb to getting the 'mom' haircut. After having spit up in my hair this morning, I was over it, Now, I just have to wait and see what the hubby thinks. He gives me any flak, I'll just to tell him that he can style my hair in the morning for me if he likes it longer.

That's so funny...I just did the same thing last week after swearing to never have the mom cut! I kept it just long enough to be able to pull it back into a ponytail. It helped me start to get in a mindset to go back to work also....

Meh - it's hair. It'll grow back. I think it's good to have a hairdresser who will challenge you to not have the same haircut you had 20 years ago.

I cute mine at about 4 weeks also. All that shedding was just killing me. The woman who cut it probably gave me a the world's WORST cut. I have been kind of growing it out so the next stylist will have something to work with.

Please don't call it a "mom" haircut. My SIL used to say this to my sister when she cut her hair shorter.  "Oh you got a mommy haircut". No, no. no...SIL has mommy hair.....which is hair that is all shabby with no style. Your haircut is probably cute & stylish.
