Exploding diapers...HELP!

Lately my DD has been exploding out of her diapers everytime she poops. We use pampers and are using a size 1. We usually use the swaddlers, but had a pack of size 1 pampers baby dry and are using these as well. Does anyone know if the swaddlers and baby dry fit differently? The newborns seem too small, but should I still use them maybe. I am an EP'er, so she just gets BM and she currently weighs 9lb 10oz. Any help is appreciated...TIA

    with DD1 that always meant it was time for the next size up! And it was always before the recommended sizing.. sometimes they just fit differently. As far as size, baby dry always seemed tighter on DD1 then the swaddlers.

    You could try Swaddlers 1-2.. they're a little larger then the 1s (go up to 15lbs). DD is blowing out of the 1s now too, at 11 lbs. The 1-2 are great though.

    I lvoed Pampers when my lo was in the N1 size but now that he is wearing size 3 (he is a big boy!) He explodes them everytime. I had to switch to Higgies. Pampers dont have the strip across the back of the diaper that is supposed to stop leaks of poop. Huggies are as soft as Pampers but he has never pooped out the back of them. Maybe buy a small pack of different brands and test them out? GL

    What a darling little girl! My name is Pattie and I work for Pampers in Consumer Care. I would definitely recommend moving up to a size 2 and using the Swaddlers. The Swaddlers have overlapping fasteners, so you'll get more absorbency with the next size, but you can adjust them to fit real snug. I hope that helps.
