Plugged duct

Ughhhh... I have a plugged duct.. I am dying for DH to get home (3:30) so he can watch the baby so I can use a heat pack and pump.

This stinks... a) I'm in pain.. b) it's not mastitis but I certainly need to make sure it doesn't turn into it.. and c) I don't want to end up in the ER on Thanksgiving if it turns into mastitis (assuming my Dr wouldn't be open).  What a pain, literally!!!  Hopefully a few rounds of heating and pumping extra will clear it up fast.  I like how the instructions to deal with a plugged duct recommend extra rest.. hah hah!!

    My sister is getting over mastitis.  She should have went to the hospital but she didn't .  Her dr called in an anitibiotic at 9:30 at night for her.  Hopefully yours would do hte same.

    When I had mastitis I called my doc at 1am and gave them the number to the 24 hr pharmacy.  I took my first pill at just before 2am :)

    They shouldn't need to see you.  At the first sign of a fever call and get started!
