The hospital did pics after I delievered our little angel. Well, I got the disc the video is of our girl however the photos cd is of another family with a little boy...It is a nice thing the hospital does for late term losses but I have to say when i opened up the pics and it wasn't of my baby I broke out in tears and called my husband in tears. Now I can only hope they have more copies of the pictures....This day went from decent to really crappy in a matter of seconds

I am so sorry that you had to go through that. When I opened the box when we got our photos, photo cd and dvd I started balling when I saw the pictures. My first thought were these aren't my girls. The more I looked through them the more I realized that these were my girls. I was so drugged up in the hospital that I didn't remember hardly anything the way it really happened.

I am not saying this is what happened to you, but seeing the pictures for the first time is a hard thing anyways.

Have you called the hospital in regards to the pictures?

Yeah left a message for the nurse that does the program. Def isn't our baby. Completely different outfit and that was def a boy and the parents holding the baby aren't us. It's kind of a shock to open up the pics and see someone elses child. The DVD was correct just not the pics. I did bawl my eyes out though watching the DVD.

I know it sounds silly to be upset about pics but for me itz being able to see pics of her whenever I want instead of having to rely on my memory

It's not silly at all.  That would be hard even if everything were right.  Having to deal with the error is just another layer of frustration on top of the pain you're already going through.  I hope they get everything sorted out for you quickly and easily.  {{hugs}}

It is definitely not silly to be upset about the pictures.  I hope they get this straightened out right away.  I am so sorry you had to deal with that.

Woman just called me apologized a million times she said one of the other head nurses made the disk she was gonna make me the disk tonight to pickup from them tomorrow and I'm going to give her the disk from the family they gave me. sigh of relief that they still have my pictures saved I thought I was going to get hit with another huge blow. She said she can't imagine what went through my head when i saw that....she's a nice lady I must say but they still caused me a near mental breakdown today. Thanks everyone :-)
