Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Anyone on Zoloft? (not necessarily MPL related)

I started Zoloft on Thursday night to help with the anxiety I've had since the m/c (took it with my PNV and folic acid around midnight before I went to bed).  I'm having a bunch of "symptoms", and I can't figure out if they are phantom, or attributable to the Zoloft.

I am very slightly nauseated, was only in the AM for the first few days, now it is very vaguely there all day.  I am starving every 4 hours, it feels like I haven't eaten in days.

My temp jumped on Saturday, but I didn't temp on Friday (right after I started the Zoloft), so I don't know if that is from the Zoloft or a pg, which would be awesome, but I am confused.

Thoughts?  Advice?

TIA!

Re: Anyone on Zoloft? (not necessarily MPL related)

  • I am zoloft.. but, my only syptom is the runs.... (sorry if TMI)

Your symptoms however seem more like pg symtoms than zoloft... have you POAS yet???

  • No, not yet.  Last time I got my BFP at 11DPO, so I am trying to at least wait until then.  That would be Friday.  I'm a little nervous to find out, but we would be with my whole family (who knows about the m/c), so at least I could tell them.

DH will be working Friday during the day, so I might POAS with my sister around so she can clean up the fall-out from the BFN.  I'll keep you posted.

Its good to know that you don't have these SE from Zoloft, that gives me a little perspective.  I am also not one of those people that gets SE from every med, I hardly ever do.  The only bad reaction I have had to a med was a severe allergic reaction, but I never get SEs.  I've been on multiple SSRIs before too (paxil, lexapro, wellbutrin), so I was surprised to think that I would have SEs from a med in the same class....only time will tell I guess!

  • I'm on zoloft, but I don't have any symptoms like that.

  • Nausea with Zoloft is normal for the first 1-3 weeks. Make sure to eat something when you take it, it helps.
