When could your child use one?  I have the $10 off coupon, and I am thinking of buying it for Christmas.  DD loves to spin around to the point of dizziness.  Would this toy be a waste at 18 months?  Can they "get it" at that age?  Thoughts?

I bought my nephew one last year when he was 2. He just got into it this past week and he turns 4 in March. He loves it now, but he didn't get it at 2. Ellie likes to push the top of it to make it play music, but she has no concept of how to use it.

We actually have one now - one of my co-workers gave me her old one. I was planning on putting it in the basement but Baby C found it before I had a chance. He LOVES it. Even though he doesn't really get how to make it work himself, he loves when we spin him around on it and he loves to sit next to it and spin his stuffed animal while the music plays.

Friends of ours have one for their daughter (she turned 2 in October) and Kate loves it.  She sits on it and uses her feet to spin.  It's actually on Kate's Christmas list.

I bought a used one for Justin at OUAC.  He doesn't get it, either.  He's a lot like Jersey's little C............he loves to play the music and he puts his stuffed kitty on it to play, but he can't/won't turn it for himself.  He's almost 28 months.......it's in our basement, waiting for him to learn it.  LOL.

I wish they made them for adults.  My brother had one when we were little and it was so much fun!

They have them at E's day care in the 18 month to 2 year toddler room.  The kids are always on them.  Maybe I am the outlier here, but I know Eli knows very well how to use it now and I think he did before he turned 2 as well.

I just may have hopped on Charlie's to take a spin. Legs are a little long, but I got the effect I was looking for

Santa brought Brooke the music one last year, when she was 14 months. Her oldest brother would sit on it with her (and me - but they aren't as solid as they used to be and I was afraid I would break the wheel off) and spin her around last year and she LOVED it. She can spin herself around on it now also and she just turned 2. She probably could do it just before she turned 2.

Ryan will be getting one from Santa. I had the $10 off coupon too. I got it at WalMart a few weeks ago for $19.96 so with the coupon I only paid $9.96!
