I'm fairly new around here (I lurked a lot on the boards) and I was pretty intimidated by some of the other boards but I seem to identify with a lot of you ladies here, so I decided to start posting. So I agree!

I love this place.  It's a wonderful board!

And, my experience with (super-crappy) baby sleep is that nothing - good or bad - lasts longer than 2 weeks.  So, worse case, you've got another 10 days.  You can do it

i'm new to this board too. i was lurking elsewhere and read a post about how crazy + judgmental the AP board was. i hadn't noticed that there *was* an AP board, so i was excited and curious.

i've been impressed by the open, supportive mood of things too. but maybe the BSC stuff just been on hiaitus lately?

It only gets crazy when the people who think we're so wretched come over to moan about how awful we are.  It's very rare that the regulars get under one another's skin as far as I've seen. 

Anyway, I couldn't be happier about this board myself.

The ladies here are great but protective of their parenting styles so of course something breaks out every now and again but that just adds to my addiction.

I love me some mama's who stand up for what they think is right.

And I hear ya on the rough days - kiddo has what has to be the world's most stubborn tooth coming through - AHAHAHAHA.  But hang in there - it will pass!

This is a great board. The only trouble that usually happens is when someone comes over looking for trouble...and even that gets shut down pretty quick usually.
