Ugh loved the name now...

My husband and I were pretty set on Ava Claire for our daughter's name. I'm beginning to think it may not be the "right" name. I'm concerned partially because I've heard Ava is so popular and the popularity thing is kinda getting to me. We also like the names Brooke and Claire.  What do you guys think of the name? Our last name is very common: Phillips.

Claire is NMS but I do think Ava Claire is really pretty together. I love Ava Brooke.

Love it.  Our daughter is Claire and I would use Ava for our next daughter although it is getting a little too popular for me.  Might still use it though as I don't personally know any Ava's.  I like Brooke as well but while all of these names are popular I only know several Brooke's - don't know any Ava's or Claire's (except my daughter obviously)

Both Ava and Claire work well with your last name! Actually so does Brooke. FWIW my friend just named her new DD Claire Elizabeth.

It is a pretty name.  This is also how DH and I loved Victoria Marie and after so many people said they would call LO Tori or Vicki then we ended up looking for something else.

I think it's nice.  If you love it...keep it in mind.  You may look for another name and find that this is the only name for her.  ;-)

What about Clara Brooke Phillips? Still has the same kind of sound, but slightly different name. Not nearly as popular!
