I love Claire, and I love Harper...

I don't love the repetitive last syllable of middle name/last name, but how often will all three names be used? High school graduation and whenever her dad and I are really mad at her?

I like it, and you're right. Middle names rarely get  used, unless she decides to go by it when she's older. And even when you're mad at her, you probably won't say her last name, I know my parents didn't. Another advantage...she'll grow up and change her last name.

I think it's a great name and a nice pair.  I do agree that the last name and middle name sound a lot alike, but I'm not convinced that actually matters.

I think Claire Harper is a great combo of a classic first name and chic/trendy middle name.

I just wanted to say thanks for the feedback!

We're pretty set on Claire at this point, but we change our minds every few weeks about her middle name. We've gone from Elizabeth to Alexandra to Catherine and now Harper. My H claims that he doesn't really care about MNs, so I'm on my own here!
