If it's not already, it seems to be on it's way. I've seen it mentioned quite a bit on this board and although I don't personally know any, I think it is being used more and more.

Lily also seems to be uber popular these days.

I have only heard it on here, it is what we are planning on naming dd #2 and a lot of people on here commented on how it is trendy and popular but I don't know anyone IRL with this name, old, young, babies etc. no one. it is not high on the ssa website for national or my state. and I am not concerned with popularity too much anyway. DD #1 supposedly has a popular name- I have only ever met one other person with her name.

Yes, but I don't think it's overly popular in itself. It's just a part of Lily, Lillian, Leila, Layla and Lola, which are all fairly popular.

My DD is Lila. When I was pregnant and planning on naming her, we didn't know any. Now the name is popping up everywhere. Parents magazine said it will be the #1 name in 10 years. I still love it though.

This is my all time favorite girls name.  Unfortunately, 2 friends have named their baby girls Lila in past year, so it is ruled out for us.
