Anyone out there not married to their child's father? I mean we are in love..we are living together, but not married yet...and I don't see anything wrong with that. I just sometimes feel like I'm the only one...I hate having to explain the situation to people so I don't. For example, the other night I was at a party and someone said, " oh I was just talking to your husband..." and I just went along...I'm not explaining it...I'm a 28 year old woman, not a 15 year old child, yet sometimes I feel it makes me seem like a "baby mama" UGH...please tell me I'm not alone...

no.. people are ignorant.  My 6yr old's father and I were not married at the time and after trying to make it work a year and a half after DS was born, we split up.  Im glad I didnt get married because it would have been an ugly divorce.  I am married now with LO on the way and people still call me by my Ex's last name.. drives me nuts!!!
