Hi Ladies..I am 12 weeks pregnant with our second child. Our first is Elizabeth Adelle (Adelle is DH's grandmothers name). We call her Libby for a nn. 

We're leaning towards

Samantha Corinne for a girl (Corinne is my grandma's name) Maybe Sammy for a nickname. 

and

Charles Henry for a boy, with Charlie as the nn.

the next two contenders are

Josephine Alice (Josie)

and

Patrick David

Any opinions would be great...Thanks!!!

I really like Josephine/Josie better than Samantha. Samantha reminds me too much of the 80's/90's and Josephine seems more classic. Charles Henry is a wonderful name!

I think they are all very nice, I love the girl names because they are all very traditional names, nothing off the wall.

I definitely prefer Josephine over Samatha. I agree with PP, Samatha reminds of the 80s.

I also love Corrine as a first name. I think Corrine Alice sounds adorable.

Josie is also very cute.

Charles Henry and Patrick David are very nice names.

I think Josie is so cute with Libby.  I am not a fan of Samantha but I do like Corinne.  For a boy I like Charles Henry a lot.

Samantha is nice, but I like Josephine better.  Both Corinne and Alice are very nice, too.  (Corinne is also my grandmother's name and we used it for a middle name).

Love both your boy names, but I like Charles Henry just a little more than Patrick David.

I like Josephine (Josie) better than Samantha (Sammy). Charles is okay, but I love the nn Charlie.  I dont know how you feel about this, but have you considered using Charlie for a girl?

Samantha is one of my favorite girl names. Classic and beautiful. It's a timeless name. Charles Henry is really, really nice. I love both of those a lot!

I much prefer Josephine and Patrick. I do like Charles Henry though too. I don't like Samantha at all.

My middle name is Elizabeth and I always wanted to name my daughter Elizabeth and call her Libby, but my husband doesn't like Libby and my SIL's name is Elizabeth. I love Samantha Corrine I think that's really pretty. I also like Charles Henry. Very good choices.

I love them all.  I think I prefer Samantha to Josephine.  I really like the name Patrick David.  In my opinion, Charles is a little trendy right now.

I am not a big fan of Samantha (or the nn Sammy), but I do like Corinne.   I really like the name Josephine.

Love both  your boys names, but lean toward Patrick David.

Thanks so much ladies for all of the opinions!! We have nixed Samantha-DH said he just didn't like how androgynous the nn "Sammy" seemed. So, we narrowed it down to Josephine as a first name and either Corinne or Alice for the mn. Luckily we still have a while to figure which we'd want! We're still stuck on boys names at the moment...and I have this feeling that this baby will be a boy-so we might have to venture into the boy threshold a little further! Thanks again!
