I took Noah to get his second H1N1 shot. First they tried to tell me that he was old enough not to need one (he is 4). So after some argument they decided he did. Then they wouldn't give it because it has only been 28 days. They want it to be a month, because apparently they know more than the CDC. I was so mad. I know it isn't a huge deal and I am thankful that he has gotten his first dose, but now I have to wait another week and who knows if they will still have it.
Vent over, thanks for listening.
Re: H1N1 vent
My first reaction is "how nice that you had to drag him out to the flu-infested doctor's office just to argue about the shot".
I'm sorry you have to go through this with him. When I am at the pedi with Olivia I hear SO many people battling about whether or not their child should/will get the shot.
I wanted to clarify, I was snarking about the inefficiency of the doctor's office, not you in any way
