Thanks! Anyone use one of these for a child over 20lbs? Im trying to decide if one of these would be good or just to continue using the stroller. Usually I take him out in the stroller and he wants me to carry him the entire way anyway.
Preemie to 35 lbs. The Moby? Wrap is an optimal baby carrier for premature infants. Preemies are often prescribed to practice "kangaroo care" and this skin-to-skin practice used to increase birth weight can be easily achieved while wearing the Moby? Wrap. The Moby? Wrap is long enough to adapt to your growing baby. The fabric can hold up to 45 lbs, and most people feel comfortable carrying up to 35 lbs.
I've worn DD in it recently, and it was fine. I like my Ergo much better now that she's bigger, but for shorter trips I think the moby would be ok. It does take some practice to figure out how to wrap it comfortably, so don't get discouraged with the first few tries.

I use mine with DS still. We just started the hike hold, where he is on my back. It holds up great still. I just make sure it is wrapped tight to begin with, because if he is in it for a long time, he starts to sag down a little. If he is snug in the beginning, there is less chance of that for us.

I wouldn't want to use my moby after 20 pounds. It didn't feel supportive enough to me. I would suggest an Ergo or a woven wrap. I've heard the woven wraps are much more supportive, but they are the same type of style. This is the one we're getting for the new baby. I've heard really good things about it. I still use the Ergo with DD (21 lbs) and I love it.
Re: Anyone know what the weight requirement is on the moby wrap?
