I'm just beginning to look at furniture and need to look into strollers/swings etc at some point. Where did you start your research? I feel like there are so many factors to consider...I'm feeling so overwhelmed!
Baby Bargains is a great book. It tells you all about every baby product and rating for everything. It does not tell you what you should get, but guides you in deciding what you will need and want to get. I do not think I could have done it without it!
After I narrowed my choices down with Baby Bargains, I asked moms their opinions on things and also checked out Target and BRU website for real reviews to help me decide.
Good luck, it definitely is overwhelming at first!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

This is pretty much exactly what I did, too. The BB book was very helpful.
I really suggest using the consumer reports website to do some research. You need to sign up to get access, but I think it's worth it. I've done research for a crib and play yard and because the ones I got are top rated for safety I feel soooo much better about my choices. And, of course, talking to other parents and reading on these boards is great, too!

Baby bargains has been my bible throughout throughout this pregnancy. It gives you real mom reviews as well as consumer report-ish reviews. I've taken it with me to the stores and look up the brand if I wasn't sure. You could read through BB then check out consumer reports, or vice versa to be sure you are making the most educated decisions!
