reproductive science center? Dr. Pang?

Hello! I usually post on the RI Nest board, but thought I'd ask here too since I'm asking about a Dr located in Leominster (but sees patients in Milford too).

Has anyone seen Dr. Pang?

Re: reproductive science center? Dr. Pang?

  • I go to RSC in RI, and see Dr. Wold.  I don't know Dr. Pang, but I have a lot of respect for all the RSC providers - they have been wonderful so far.

  • some of the girls on the nest board see Dr Wold too.

I just will not deliver in RI. I had DD in Milford (I love that hospital) and want to go back. She had to be transferred to a NICU and we chose WIH -- I will never voluntarily go there again.
Between the way we were treated when we got there (one example, the neonataolgist never introduced himself, just said "are you Mom & Dad D? Your daughter has slanted eyes. I've already called in the geneticist - if they'd have read her chart, they'd have seen that she's 1/4 Japanese), them never looking at her chart from Milford and completely disreguarding everything we said.

  • I'm currently seeing Dr. Pang in Lexington. He does not have the warmest bed side manner, but I do think that he has been very helpful in guiding our decisions regarding our current IVF/FET cycle. We've met with him 3 times and he's called me twice when there have been issues. I've spoken with the nurses many, many times. All of the nurses I've worked with at RSC have been fabulous.

  • I saw Dr. Pang once. I wasn't impressed with him.  We were TTC for 14 months and didn't read up on our chart before we got there. I was hoping he would have some potential reasons for our problems.  In the end I requested progesterone suppositories b/c I read that low progesterone can be linked to spotting.  I got pg the first month on progesterone. No intervention needed.

  • thanks everyone. I saw him on Tuesday and actually kinda liked him, but that's only based on a 30 minute interaction.

We were able to come up with a plan for at least this cycle, possibly next too, and I was sent for testing. I don't have a diagnosis so I'm hopeful that testing will get us somewhere.
