When is your first DR appt?
Willow, well that makes the building seem a lot less creepy, but I am assuming with that many employees the building is really large and that is why it takes you forever to do rounds??
Hey Lacie, so far so good. I can't complain, just a little queasy and sleepy, but I could be imagining it all!!
I have an appointment with my GP on Wednesday. I guess she'll do a physical and fingers crossed recommend a OB.

I am coping! lol.. cramping like heck... but that is how it goes, at least I get a fresh start this cycle, and hopefully better luck, I am thinking my O date may have been off and we didn't have sex enough, but I am still getting more nervous every cycle that my ovarian cysts and previous failed PGs have somehow made me unable to bear children, but I am sure those are crazy fears, I have not gave it nearly enough time..
I can't wait until you get your due date and your first ultrasound! You better keep me up to date!
I'm sure you have nothing at all to worry about. But I do understand why you are nervous. We had sex every second day when we got our BFP, maybe try that next cycle?
Of course I will keep you and Willow updated on due date etc. This board is so much more interesting than 1st Tri. I want you guys to join me over there!
Yeah, we usually do.. but that week ended up being kinda crazy work wise, so sex got pushed to the back burner!
Hopefully we will be joining you very very soon! Willow seems to be having very good feelings about this cycle for her! So maybe she will be over there with you soon and then hopefully next cycle for me?? lol.. I know it will come in time!
So how excited is DH?
Have you been able to keep it a secret so far?
DH is very excited, he saw his little nephew yesterday and said he looks forward to holding his own child. He also asked if it was too early for a "working title" for the baby, he's funny! He thinks my boobs have grown already but it's wishful thinking!
So far we have kept it a secret. We live interstate from our families which means it's been easy so far. DH was at home yesterday for a family event, he said he was tempted to tell the priest who married us (cause he was asking qn's and would keep it quite) but he resisted the urge! DH does think it'll be very tough keeping it quite at christmas!
Well you never know, some people start having signs very early!
I don't know how you have managed to keep it quite for this long! I have such a big mouth, I could never keep that a secret! why don't you tell them at Christmas?? You don't think your families will be upset that you kept it from them or do you think they will undertand?
Nah, they won't be upset. I'd love to tell my Dad but I don't feel I can tell him and not my mum (they are divorced). But I can't tell mum because then the whole world would know!
If we get to have a scan before Christmas and it's all good, then we will probably tell just our parents. That way we can do it in person. I guess we'll be close to 12 weeks then, so I don't see too much harm in that.
When would you share your BFP news??
Honestly, because I am one of those people that can't keep anything from anybody (i am an open book, I am the worst person ever to even tell a secret to) Everyone would probably know is soon as I got a blood test, just because I wouldn't want to get everyone excited since urine tests can produce false positives every once in a blue moon, but once I knew I was PG, I would tell everybody, if something happens it happens and I will have to explain it to everyone at that point. I just know I couldn't keep my mouth shut! But, kudos to you for being able to do so ! I am proud of you!
Wow.. that is a lot of walking. I barely move out of my chair all night! I couldn't imagine walking that much at work! Of course it would be nice if I was able to leave this room every once in a while!
And here I am wishing I had your job! Lets switch!!! I could use some warm weather!

No I didn't temp today, I temp vaginally so when AF is here temping really isn't an option.lol..
Did you get your thermometer yet? Or are you waiting to see if AF arrives first before you waste your money?
We are doing our best! Most of my mates here are from work, so I'm not tempted to tell them yet. It'd be a sure fire way of telling our bosses and I really should do that formally.
I am going to try to keep my mouth shut, but just thinking that I might be KTFU is making me wanna shout it from the mountians. LOL! Good for you Tiger!!!!!!
Welcome back. I really hope that you wasted your money! That'd be the best money ever wasted. You'd still be able to use it for TTC number 2!

Yes you are right, my boss and I are friends outside of work (he knows I am TTC, and says that I need to quit talking about wanting babies so much or God is going to give me sextuplets) so I wouldn't have to worry about having to formally tell him..lol.. but I have been in jobs before where it would absolutely be something you would want to do formally, it is the professional thing to do!

We really want to tell everyone, but we are being cautious. It's going to be hard in the lead up to Christmas. I'm usually a social drinker and it'll definately be noted when I am off the booze!
Any tips for avoiding the inevitable "why aren't you drinking" qn? Just saying no to a drink won't cut it!
Bit ahead of myself, I know. But it'll happen, I just know it!
Hopefully in January we'll all be posting on 1st Tri!
When DH and I were PG previously we had a party planned the night i realized I was PG.. I just told everyone I had a sinus infection ans was on antibiotics and it would interfere.. lol
DH is a pharmacy tech so he thought of that one!! lol
hhhmmmm.....You could say that you don't feel too well. or that you are the DD....or your on a med that would mess with it.
The med thing might work, so might the DD. We've also got a wedding to go to, which could be interesting. I'm thinking at that I will just carry a glass of wine around and subtly get DH to drink from it (or "spill" it on the grass). A friend of mine did this and said that it worked for her, although her DH got much drunker than usual! Anything is worth a shot!
Go for long like that and you will be like the Duggars!!!
Good luck at the wedding Tiger! I like the idea of dumping or making DH drink some. lol! I don't drink much so nobody will notice me not drinking. I'm the black sheep of my family. I actually have never even been drunk. lol.
At this stage I think we'd like 3, but who knows, I might stick with 2 or even consider 4. Of course, I'll be v happy with 1 to start with.
This is bad, but if we had 2 girls first, I'd stop there. I could NOT handle 3 girls. If we had 2 boys or a boy and a girl first, i suspect we'd definately go back for a third.
I was thinking about that -the duggars- (I think there would come a point when I would have to stop) I don't know how that woman's uterus hasnt fallen out or they aren't so poor they eat bread for dinner! So I should have said "I will take as many children as God blesses me with within reason"..lol
See people would notice with me as well because I am a drinker.. I love how you say you are going to pour it onto the grass..lol.. that is funny.. I mean if you sip very slowly (and make sure you don't drink more than a small glass) it should be alright, they say a glass of wine does not hurt during pregnancy don't they?
I can not believe you have never been drunk!!! I don't know if I have ever met anyone else like that before besides the one girl I work with who is 28, and never had a sip of alcohol (she has also never had sex either) lol
I wish I was like you Willow - an almost non-drinker, it'd make things loads easier, lol!
I reckon I could have the odd sip. I certaintly would not plan on drinking the whole glass, but i figure I can have a 'cheers' at the wedding!
As an aside - the couple whose wedding we are going to met at our wedding, and now they are getting married. We're very excited for them!!

This is a double reply.
We do have the throwing the boquet tradition, but I didn't follow it at our wedding. There were ALOT of single chicks at our wedding and only 3 single guys (1 who is about 65, the other who is secretly gay and the other is the soon to be groom).
DH and I got married in March 08, so we've been married for 1 year and 8 months or so.
What about you Lacie?
It's funny how the bump has brought us together. 3 women who probably never would of met. Tiger you live in another country and are a lawyer! I dont think I would of ever had the guts to talk to someone as successful like you. And Lacie, you sound like a fun social person who goes out and does things with friends and family. I mostly stay at home and read. lol. I went to my first club right before the wedding!
So, to sum it up, I LOVE the bump!
