so...I've been trying very hard with the no cry sleep solution to get ds to fall asleep for me. I rocked him forever tonight...
The past two night he had gone down for me...tonight I just couldn't physically hold him anymore so I had dh go try and put him to sleep. He can always get ds to go down, usually very easily without any crying. Sometimes though, like tonight, ds just cries, with dh standing over him...tucking him in,then making sure he's okay...but still without touching him. Is this okay? I HATE it but I don't know what else to do at this point if I can't get him to go down.

We did a 10 day NCSS plan about a month ago. About half way through I almost threw in the towel - I thought it wasn't going to work. On day 7 we started seeing a good bit of improvement, & day 9 we were doing great. So keep at it, don't give up hope. If your plan doesn't work, go over the sleep logs, reassess what's going on, see if you need to tweak your plan, & do it again in a few weeks.
