Linden for a girl?

Let me preface this by saying that I personally HATE all the made-up names ending in -den (brayden, kayden, jaden, etc.) that are popular right now, but what do you think about Linden for a girl?  Does it sound like one of those names?  It's an old name (although not very popular) so I didn't even think of that until looking through lists today. 

Leading alternatives are Calliope, Tallulah, and Milla.

It doesn't remind me of the Jayden/Brayden kind of names, but I don't think I would use it.

It's not bad. Reminds me a lot of "My mom's name is Linda but I wanted to modernize it." But I don't hate it. It's just NMS.

I think its a very pretty name, but i like the spelling, Lynden better... i dont think its in the Jayden, brayden catagory either (jayden is my absolute LEAST fav name on the planet, so i understand what you were thinking) ...and i do like it more than your other choices

My old boss named her daughter Linden.  I think it is very pretty and different.

I've only heard it for a boy, but I could see it working fine for a girl. I think it's pretty. Of your other 3 names, I like Milla the best.

Linden is pretty.  Probably should be paired with a very feminine mn though.  I LOVE Calliope & Tallulah (they are both on my list as well).

I work with a lady named this and I thought she was a man for the longest time.  It's NMS but it's your baby so name her whatever you like.

I have a friend who named a little girl Linden.  It was after his wife's mother, Linda.  Her nn is Lindy.

I think it is cute, but it sounds like it is gaining in popularity.
