Parenting after 35

This thought makes me happy

I am going to wear my maternity jeans to Thanksgiving and eat as much of my grandmother's dressing and sweet potato souffle as I want.  I will worry about the weight later, after all it only comes once a year.

  • Good idea! :)

I think I'll wait to go back to Weight Watchers until AFTER turkey day. ;-)

  • How nice that they are handy for such occasions! Makes me wish I wouldn't have loaned all mine out.

  • You guys are so lucky.  No Turkey Day in Canada!  Well, there is, but it's in October and I was too busy with a new baby to be able to have it.  :(

  • i like your thinkin'! I will be wearing my maternity pants on Thanksgiving. I don't really have a choice because I have 1 pair of pants that fit me - my "uniform". I refuse to go shopping. I never thought I'd say this but I look forward to being able to wear my largest size "big girl jeans" - if only I could drop 5-6 lbs, then I might be able to get them buttoned (but, not til after the FEAST!)

I re-joined WW last Thurs. I'll stay focused until next Thursday. I truly love Thanksgiving. My absolute favorite holiday. And, don't we have so much to be thankful for this year?! Yay! Big Smile
