my mom doesn't like the mn

Not pregnant yet but trying for #2- so of course names being discussed and what-knot. Well, I was having a name conversation with my mom and when the subject of mn's came up she states "I don't like Josephine" ok, well good for you mom, but I do and its on our short list for MNs! haha... I told her "well, good thing its not your kid to name" (with a smile so it wasn't too witchy).  I asked her why she doesn't like it and she said just don't like it. I wonder if there's more to that since Josephine was my mom's grandmother's name- we aren't using the name as such to be named after my mom's g-ma- I've just always liked the name.

So, what do you all think about the name Josephine? The first name that I would pair it with is Dianna {so: Dianna Josephine}

I love odd / not common names and this is the most common name on our list for girls.

I think Josephine is lovely. My mom doesn't like my names either, but then again, Caden is her favorite boy name so I take her opinions with a grain of salt

I love the name Josephine. Tell your mom that it's not her baby, so she doesn't have to like the name choice

Josephine is a pretty name.  I don't care for Dianna.  I actually think Josephine Diane would sound better.

The name Diana is one that would be on my list if I were having another child. I like names that are not unusual and not popular.
