Pee smell...

Does your baby's pee smell? Mine has really strong smelling pee and I noticed tonight it's almost got a foul, fishy odor to it...

Does that sound abnormal? Maybe like an infection?

Ew!  yea, that doesn't sound right.  DD's pee really doesn't have an odor at all.  Are you using soy formula?  I've heard of soy changing the way a baby's urine smells.   ??

No, he's strictly breastfed. Looks like I should give the pedi a call.

I'm no expert, but I recall reading something that you should let your pedi know if urine has a funny smell.

LO's pee doesnt really have a smell - totally mild.

anytime your LO's pee smells off...sweet smell, fishy, skunky you are supposed to call the pedi.  It doesn't totally mean that there is something wrong but that is one of the first things they look at so it is better to get it checked out
