DD hates shoes...anyone else?

She just started walking on her own so I figured it was time to get her some shoes.  She freaks out and screams when I put them on her.  She'll stand with them on, but refuses to cruise or walk.  Help!  I've let her hold them and play with them, shown her that I wear shoes too.  What can I do?

Liliana has four pairs, and she loves when I let her pick them out herself. She will grab a pair and sit down and giggle. She used to scream before that. She also loves to pick out the outfit she's going to wear and is actually pretty good at it.

She has no problem with them as long as they're not on her feet!
