i never thought about giving DS string cheese until someone posted about yesterday. how do you give it to them. do you make sure they are pea sized or do you just pull off a string (size of a spaghetti?) and hand it to them or what?
Our pedi said she could have cheese starting at 10 months (which is tomorrow, LOL) and that we should try shredded. I didn't even think about string cheese (I'm lactose intollerant so I don't think of cheese very often) but I bet that would be good for her too. I will make it little pieces - at least the size of shredded if not smaller. I usually put her food on her high chair tray and let her pick it up and feed herself.
