moby wrap help

I just got my moby yesterday & I cant figure out wich hold is gonna work for DS. He has amazing neck strength for 1 month and keeps popping his head out of the Newborn hug hold. Am I wraping wrong or will it only work if they dont have any neck mvmt? I think when FI gets up I'll try the Kangaroo hold.

Any moby users have any tips?

  • We had the same problem, on top of it, DD hated having her head held in place by the fabric.  So between wanting to look at everything, neck strength, and the dislike of the fabric, I stopped trying to keep her head in there just after 1 month.  I let her keep her head out and used my hand to keep it steady when needed.  Once she fell asleep, I could loosely tuck her head in.

This is the only way I can use it. Luckily she falls asleep fairly quickly in it.
