I am thinking about going down with DS in March. My grandma lives down there in the winter, and my mom always goes down for awhile. I'm wondering if their is anything in the area that would be fun for DS? If I remember correctly she lives on Baseline and Guadelupe(sp)? or something like that.

Re: Anyone in Mesa AZ?
I live in Scottsdale, which is just next door to Mesa. There are some great kid's museums in and around Phoenix, including one in Mesa (first link below) and one in Downtown Phoenix (the better of the two, in my opinion, and not too far away). In March you could also consider a spring training game.

I grew up in Mesa and now I'm living in Chandler, the city south of Mesa. I second the Arizona Museum for Youth. It is in downtown Mesa and the admission is cheap. Plus it has a very neat toddler area called Artville. My kids love it.
The Phoenix Children's Museum is neat too. That time of year the weather will still be nice so you can do The Phoenix Zoo if you want, it's in Phoenix, but on the east side so it's really not too far from Mesa.
If you are looking for something a little smaller, the Superstition Springs Mall in east Mesa has a special kids event each Thursday.
