DD hates sitting

Lately when I put her in the sitting position she lifts her arms in the air as if she's afraid to touch the ground. On the rare occasion that she actually does sit, she acts as if she's being punished or something and just sits there frowning. But she loves sitting in her highchair/swing. Anyone else have a LO that does this? I guess she's just not ready.
