Success after IF

XP: kinda on a team do not know for sure...

We only had a quick look because the baby was sitting on my uterus feet down and its face facing my back. With the quick peep the tech thought girl, but he said there are no positives.  I di dnot think I saw any boy parts either, however he siad they could be hiding...  so we think girl, but does it matter what way the baby is laying... I was hoping to know a little better...  anyone have any ieas... Or related experience and how did it turn out...

  • Oh no! What a bummer :( Will they do another u/s? I would go to an u/s place if not and find out (but I am a planner and need to know these things :)). I would also drink plenty of Gatorade before the u/s to get that baby moving (even though they tell you not to, I always did). GL :)
It took over four years to be diagnosed with PCOS. We TTC #1 for 18 months, did 5 rounds of Clomid and finally moved onto IVF...which worked! Throughout our IF journey, we suffered 3 miscarriages. We conceived both DD and DS without treatment.

  • No experience but I would go to an u/s place as well and find out or are they willing to do another one.  I would have laid there till he/she moved and you could see. hehe  Hope you get to find out.

  • They had a hard time at my 19 week u/s and eventually said girl.  The 5 U/Ss we've had since then (yes, 5 - due to PTL scare) show that HE's definitely NOT a girl!

My advice would be to go for another or even wait a bit for a 3D.

  • COngratulations either way:)

He probably had boy parts hiding somewhere, b/c i said girl, and i am always wrong:)

  • What a bummer!!! I would be so frustrated. I dont have experience since my boys were clearly boys and were not shy about showing that!! Lol. But could you get a 3D ultrasound somewhere? They should be able to tell you for sure and it might be fun to see the baby in 3D.
