Anyone ever heard of this??

I posted this on "Getting Pregnant" and got alot of snarky comments... I have never heard of this and am trying to figure out if there is any truth in it or not..... With that said:

 Last weekend I went to a friends house. We had dinner and I probably had 3 or 4 drinks. Next thing I know, my husband is cleaning up the puke off the floor and I do not remember going home. I have never had a reaction to alcohol like that - especially after only 4 drinks. ANYWAYS - I was telling my neighboors how stupid I felt about the situation and she told me reactions like that to alcohol can be a sign that you are pregnant. Has anyone ever heard this?? Apparently something about your hormones and being pregnant can make you SUPER drunk/sick suddenly.....  I'm still on the pill so I'm not totally sold on this theory but has anyone ever heard of alcohol being an indicator like that???

Yes I have heard of it. It could also be a bad combination of alcohol and food that was in your belly. Or any meds you might be on. Take it easy for a bit and if you're late, test.

My Dad said when my Mom was pg wtih me (before she knew it) any time she had alcohol she would get super sick. Now, I don't know about the getting drunk faster thing though.

whens your period due? I would say if you think you could be pregnant to take a test (or if its still a ways off take a test closer to your expected period and assume your pregnant-no drinking-until otherwise determined by period or negative HPT). That will be far more reliable then our advice. You know your body better than I do

Yes actually.  The day before I tested, I had only TWO beers and felt very queasy.  I had to stop because I felt so sick.
