He said Jackson looked good (which I knew). He wants him to follow up with a pediatric cardiologist to be sure he does not have any heart problems (his heart sounded good). He did say that if no heart problems are found then he most likely will not develop any as he grows (good news). He wants him to be checked out by a urologist also. Once again, no visible issues, just a precaution. He mentioned that I should take him to an endocrinologist when he is about 10 to have his hormone level checked. He said Jackson will prob be shorter than average and be unable to have children, but I already knew that. He told me one thing that I thought was interesting though, if you double the size of a child when they are 2 you will come up with their height when they are a full grown adult. Dr wants to see J again when he is 2. He said developmentally he should be on target, but if he isn't I could enroll him in a program called Babies Can't Wait and a physical or speech therapist (whichever he needs) will come out to the house and work with him until he is 3 yrs old.
Over all no big deal - he is doing great!

While I'm sorry that Jackson won't be able to have children, I'm so glad the genetic issues haven't really affected his health.
What a precious miracle Jackson is, Shelley.
