DH and I have a new favorite girls name choice: Maya. We like short, crisp, clean, easy to spell and pronounce, and not too popular or trendy. The name uses the first letter of each of the names of our 4 deceased grandmothers. FYI, our last name is Reemer.
The other names still in contention are Erika, Brooke, and Sage. Haven't figured out the MN yet, but may pick Sue (my mom, my MN + 2 aunts).
In final 2 WW after 1st injectible IUI cycle with gonadotropins, Gonal-F. IUI was 9/23. DH will not do another cycle, so this is it for us. History: 6 pregnancies: 5 losses and one DD (born 1-30-2010). Last pregnancy (May 2012) ended in D&E at 9 weeks, testing showed male fetus with an extra 16th chromosone. Recurrent losses thought to be likely due to AMA (I'm 40).

If it's your favorite name, USE it!! I mean, if your SISTER had just used it that would be one thing. But I definitely wouldn't change my naming plans based on a coworker. Coworkers come and go pretty regularly.
