Alex was napping, and I was in the bedroom on a work-related phone call. Meredith was painting with watercolors and Mike was working on his computer and apparently not paying much attention to what Meredith was doing.
I walked back into the living room, took one look at Meredith's blue lips, blue tongue and blue teeth and had to supress laughter. Yeah, she painted her mouth, inside and out, with blue watercolor paint. You'd think it would taste bad.
Mike tried to wipe her face with a baby wipe, but she protested and insisted she needed a bath. He told her no, she could take a bath later. She frowned and said, "But I painted myself ON PURPOSE." Seriously, what do you say to THAT?

Re: Let's hope Crayola paint = non-toxic
Every Crayola product I have seen has always said "non-toxic." I'm betting Meredith is not the first child to ingest Crayola paint.
It might, however, lead to interesting colors post-digestion, if you know what I mean.
