Down here, we say "fixin." IE: I'm fixin' to make me a snack. I hear all the time that I shouldn't say that because I'm not "fixing" anything. It simply means "about to."

These I got from my in-laws. They lived 2 hours away from where I grew up! They say toast bread, snippers, britches, soda water for soda, and windmill soda pop for drinking water out of the water hose!

I call it a hair binder, but a girl I work with who is from Nebraska calls it a hair band. Same goes with rubber binders/bands. I was telling her we used to have binder fights in school and she was picturing us throwing three-ring binders at each other! lol

Some others: I use kleenex rather than tissue, and I know that it's not an issue in the US but when I was in England my fav differences were pants=underwear, biscut=cookie, khaki=poopy. So when I hear someone now say they have khaki pants my mind thinks=poopy underwear.
