Irrational thoughts....

To set the scene, DH and I would like to have a boy this time as I already have a DD from a previous relationship.  However, everytime I see someone post about finding out they're having a boy, there's always this voice inside me saying "I hope they don't run out before our U/S".

Crazy, I know.

Anyone else having irrational thoughts about your pregnancy/baby?

Totally!  My u/s is in 2 hours (i just posted about it) and we really want a girl but lately it seems on here everyone is having girls and I'm thinking "well we are def having a boy then...there is too many girls!" crazy but true.

Me!! So far, everyone I know that is due in April is having a girl. So it makes me think...is this a trend? Totally irrational I know. As if April is the month of girls or something. Haha.

I always think this too! Every time I see someone announce another boy I think, "oh good, that makes my chances of having a girl go up!" I know it's irrational, but it keeps popping up in my head

I felt this way also... and I almost feel guilty for having these thoughts! We are have a girl, and while we are very very excited, we both thought all along that the baby was a boy. I had a name picked out, bedding, etc.  I have managed to disprove every old wives tale out there... all signs pointed to boy! Our friends who have had babies in the last year, or are currently pregnant have all had or are having boys so I thought it would be too good to be true for our little one to join the boy club! At least she'll have plenty of boys surrounding her to protect her and toughen her up!
